Residence in Paddington
This large project began with the complete demolition of the existing building. A basement was then excavated from the site to create room for the double garage, workshop and cellar. The new house was then built, designed around the central courtyard garden. Original trees from the site were transplanted before work started, and then re-planted back on site after the completion of the house. Other sustainable features include a green roof system, solar heating, rain water tanks and recycled bricks.

Residence in Woollahra
This job was a bit of an engineering challenge. We demolished the entire inside of the house down two levels, then excavated the basement level by hand. We saved a heritage fireplace by keeping it suspended 7.5 meters above ground level, supporting it with beams as we reconfigured the entire layout of the house. With extremely restricted access this was a very labor intensive job.
